20 May How do I make announcements post in Microsoft Teams with custom background?
Recently Microsoft released new feature for Announcements Post Type for Teams. Announcements post type is a new Microsoft Teams feature. When you compose new post, you will see an expanded compose, you will be able to select “Announcement” as a post type. From there, you can add a headline to your message with one of our preselected backgrounds color or upload your own custom photo as background.
If you are unable to see announcement post type then that is normal, because Microsoft is gradually rolling this out to customers in early June 2019, and the roll out will be completed worldwide by the end of June 2019.
As an admin, there is nothing you need to do to prepare for this change, but you may want to update your training and documentation as appropriate.
