Balu Ilag is an Indian-born and based on Silicon-valley IT professional, author,consultant, and blog writer. Over a decade, he has worked in wide variety of IT professional job as an IT Telecom Engineer, UC Architect, Administrator specifically focused on Real-time communication and collaboration technologies such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business (Lync), design, implementation and troubleshooting experience over about 12 years with iconic brands like, Juniper Network, Brocade Communications, Wipro Technology, Capgemini.

Balu has written several blog posts on Unified Communication and Collaboration technologies on subjects ranging from a how-to guide to best practices and troubleshooting.His recent book "Introducing Microsoft Teams" is featured on Book authority as BEST MICROSOFT OFFICE BOOK OF ALL TIME. Also, He is a contributor to Microsoft TechNet, TechNet Gallery, Tech community, LinkedIn forum, Twitter, etc. He mostly does consulting and administration work but also does design work regularly specific to Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business (Lync) implementation and quality improvement projects. His experience includes Azure AD, ADDS, Exchange, Windows mostly all OS flavors, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business On-Prem, Skype for Business Online, Office 365, OCS, Lync,networks, end-user services, and anything else that he work on to achieve his customer`s goal. Balu`s ongoing mission is to complete a “Doctorate in Computer Science” and develop writing and “how to” guides and tools for the everyday needs of the common UC & Collaboration IT professional.
