  • Hover over the Turn camera on button to preview your video.
  • To blur your background, select Blur my background. This is useful for minimizing distractions.
  • For a more customized appearance, select More background effects to choose a custom background or add your own image.
  • When satisfied with your settings, select Apply and turn on video. Refer figure 1 for video

  • Select Share content from the meeting controls. Refer figure2.
  • Choose to share your desktop, a specific window, a PowerPoint presentation, or a whiteboard.

  • Use Raise hand to indicate you’d like to speak without interrupting.
  • Show your feelings with reactions such as Applause or Heart. Refer figure 3 for React and engaging.
  1. Spotlight a Video: To highlight a featured speaker, you can spotlight their video:
  • Right-click on the video of the person you want to spotlight and select Spotlight.
  • Confirm by selecting Spotlight once more.
  1. Choose a Video Layout: Teams offers several video layouts to suit different meeting scenarios:
  • Gallery View: Default 3×3 layout showing up to nine participants.
  • Large Gallery: 7×7 layout displaying up to 49 participants (requires at least 10 cameras turned on).
  • Together Mode: Creates a virtual shared space, available when there are at least five participants.
  1. Create Breakout Rooms: For more focused discussions, breakout rooms are invaluable:
  • Select Breakout rooms from the meeting controls.
  • Decide the number of rooms and how to assign participants.
  • Click Create rooms and then Start rooms to begin.
