24 Jul How to Add a OneNote to Teams?
OneNote is very useful for taking notes like your own notebook, using OneNote you can capture digital notes and keep them organized, you can also add images, diagrams etc. This OneNote usage you can extend under Teams channel by adding OneNote to Microsoft Teams and it is very easy.
You can add a new or existing OneNote book to a channel, by clicking Add a tab at the top of the channel and select OneNote.
You have three options to add OneNote in Team Channel:
Option 1: To start from scratch, click Create a new notebook, add a name to the Notebook name field, and click Save.
Refer below image.
Option 2: To add an existing notebook, click Browse notebooks, choose the notebook and section, and click Save. Refer below image which shows existing OneNote to add inside Teams.
Option 3: To add a link to an existing notebook, click Paste a OneNote link, add the address, and click Save.
Once you add the OneNote tab, everyone in the channel will be able to view and make edits (provided they have access to the notebook). Anyone blocked from viewing the notebook can request access right from the tab.
Currently adding OneNote to Team channel is not available for Office 365 for Education.
Thank you.
