Skype for Business provides online meeting, dial-in meeting and audio /video calls in same conference.
Unable to join meeting using Skype for Business client?
There are different reasons behind meeting join issue, may be Skype for Business client has issue or network firewall blocking connection etc. for immediate remediation you can join meeting using Skype Web client by simply clicking on “Try Skype Web App” in meeting invite. As shown in below image.

How to reset assigned conference information?
A PIN number is only necessary when dial-in/ phone participants are made to wait in the lobby.
In case you want to reset your PIN number then, Login to https://dialin.bloguc.com/. (Your company may have different dialin URL. Refer
below image.
Example: user name: [email protected] and ****************
Then click on Sign In and then click on” reset your PIN”
Note: You can use PIN number to join meeting as leader or attendee.
In case you reset “Reset my Assigned Conference information”, the old conference ID and meeting URL will no longer work. Any existing meetings with the old conference ID will need to be updated to use the new Conference ID.
When trying to log into Skype for Business on my iOS device I get an error, “We can’t sign you in. Please check your account info and try again.”
This happens when domain name and user account is not entered. Select Show Advanced Options and enter your account (domain\user name or [email protected]) in the User Name field. Refer the below image.
“I’m sorry, I can’t locate that meeting” error.
Sometimes a conference ID will become corrupt or expired. The meeting organizer can resolve the issue by resetting the Assigned Conference information resulting in a new conference ID and meeting URL.
OR
Schedule new meeting and replace with new meeting information.
To avoid conference ID expiration and corruption issue, schedule reoccurring meeting not more than year.
Why do guests who have the Skype for Business client have trouble connecting to my meeting?
If you are connecting to someone at another organization that uses Skype for Business, you may need to add ?sl=1 to the end of the meeting URL you send to that person. If the guest’s organization is not federated with your organization, their Skype for Business client will not work properly with your system.
Adding ?sl=1 to the end of your meeting URL forces them to use the Skype for Business Web App instead of their Skype for Business client so they can successfully connect to your meeting.
Example, meeting URL will look like this: https://bloguc.com/bilag/BONRCD01?sl=1
Why Skype Web App plug-in required for meeting join?
Skype for Business has meeting web app which allows join meeting without Skype for Business client. Meeting attendee who doesn’t have Skype for Business client installed on their machine, will join Skype for Business meeting using web app but it does require to install Skype Web app plug-in. when you click on meeting join URL, it will open Skype for Business Web App page and you will find the option to download the Web App plug-in. refer below image
